HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEST FRIEND!

Today is my best friend's birthday! Tony (the illustrator) and I have been together for almost 17 years. We have definitely watched each other grow up. He is the most kind, generous and loving person I have ever met. Trust me, all these years, I have put this to the test! I am lucky to spend every day with him. Happy Birthday Tony!

(now)

Today we are celebrating with gluten free fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fried okra and gluten free angel food cake with seven minute icing...I am so looking forward to dessert!

Happy birthday, Illustrator!! That chicken (even though I don't eat meat) looks really delicious! I know buttermilk is typical of those, but I'm sure your version is just as good!

Happy belated birthday to your hubby! I'm taking mine out for his birthday tonight, much belatedly as his was on the 21st of Feb. You both look great in both photos! You're off to "a great start" ... soon to be 29 married years for us, but 17 years is totally lovely, too. ;-)
